BRAND FAMILY

​The Brand Family history goes back 8 generations as farmers, originally in the Beemster, Netherlands and the last 30 years in California and Mexico.

In the 1980s, Brand traveled to South America and thereafter began working for a flower grower in Santa Maria and then Oxnard, California. His parents and brother joined him in the United States, and he launched B&H Flowers with his brother growing snapdragons. Brand later moved to Carpinteria, CA, and has grown a range of agriculture products including cut flowers, herbs and finally avocados with his family.
